Early in the day, it looked as if it would be a good day for the Houston Cougars on both the baseball and softball diamond. Instead, it ended in disappointment, but not without a lot of excitement along the way. The softball team fell 6-5 to Oklahoma State in the Super Regionals and baseball 4-3 to Rice in 10 innings in the Conference USA Tournament championship game
